Who we are

We are bloggers who intend to share answers to everyday questions. Our posts are written by expert psychologists who have a firm grip on the subjects they are writing on. The posts on our site are derived from psychology text books , published research papers and real life experiences. We aim to create a rich encyclopedia of healthy solutions for psychological problems which a common person faces on a daily basis. Feel free to contact us about any queries/suggestions or reservations that you might have about our blog.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

We do not share your submitted data with anyone directly. However, we use some of Google’s services such as Recaptcha, which might collect data or monitor your activities on the site.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that send a query through our contact us page, we may retain their data for an year. The query once responded to, does not serve any specific purpose when retained. We may purge this data earlier too, depending on the size of the data collected from various users over a certain period of time. The user’s email address will not be automatically subscribed to any services such as newsletters etc.

For users that submit an article on our site, their article and the information they choose to make public will be retained indefinitely in the form of a public post.

For users who sign-up for our newsletters, their contact information; primarily name and email are retained indefinitely and we might send them regular post updates from time to time.

Use of third party graphics

We sometimes use graphics from other sites in our posts. We try to maintain a list of references to give due credit to the owners of these graphics. We do not claim any ownership over such content and we would be happy to take a graphic down from our site if it violates any entity’s copyright policy. The only reason why we upload these graphics on our server is because we want to be able to serve all the graphics from our host instead of using some other site’s host to serve a graphic that was requested from our posts.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments and form entries may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
